The league was started in 1993 by Dom Mancini, and was revived in 2000 by the current commissioner. We consist of 16 teams in three divisions. We use the Diamond Mind Baseball simulator to simulate our league play, based upon MLB players' previous year's MLB stats. Each team consists of a 40 man vet roster and up to a 20 man minor league roster. Prior to the start of each season, each team retains 12 players and calls up their pervious season's minors players who will qualify as a vet player for the upcoming season. We then conduct a vet draft, follwed by a minor draft. Our vet draft is somewhat different than most drafts as we allow pullbacks during the first three rounds, and an additional pullback after round 10. We sim the full 162 game schedule, follwed by a playoff and championship.
